8th Annual NMSA Student Conference

This year, the NMSA Student Conference will be held August 18th and 19th at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, WA.  The theme is From Stress to Success: The Critical Path and will focus on how to hit the ground running once you graduate from naturopathic medical school.  

Day 1:  Speakers will share their insights and experiences in choosing and following their respective career paths in private practice, integrated medicine, global health, research and more.

Day 2:  Practice management intensive focusing on practice management, the nuts and bolts of the business of health and how to get your business up and running.

Last Year's 7th Annual NMSA Student Conference:  A Look Back:

On August 21st, over 100 naturopathic medical students descended on the Arizona Bilt­more in Phoenix for the 7th annual NMSA Conference, titled A Spectrum of Healing: Na­turopathic Medicine and Integrative Medicine. The event, whose focus was on the ways that naturopathic medicine relates to and interacts with the world of “integrative medicine” was a huge success.

 
Highlights included a keynote address by Dr. James Sensenig, a look back with the founders of the Naturopathic Medical Student Association, the first annual NMSA Student Research Hall, scholarship awards, and breakout sessions hosted by the brightest in our profes­sion.
 
A huge thanks goes out to everyone who made the conference possible from student leaders, to vendors to the speakers who donated their time to teach us. Particular thanks goes to this past year’s conference coordinator, Kulveen Virdee, student at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.
